Tables were covered with lunch
cloths – and the guests were
seated at the tables then
given rolls of paper streamers
to throw around the room.
The music and dancing were
fine – but the “Shoe polish
boys” (2 in 1) seemed to carry
off the honors.
It was certainly a gala
occasion.
