Many peoples and colors –
the docks are alive with
peoples said to speak twenty
five languages.
Noticable are men with the
traveling kitchens – hung??? from
the ends of a long pole that the
man carries on his shoulders –
He sets them down and imme-
diately serves the dock workers
who squat down anywhere to eat.
These are also seen in the ???
districts of down town – among
the native shops.
Noticable here is the immense
??? with the thousands of
sanpams parcked as closely to-
gether as possible as far as
the eye can see around the
bend of the river beginning at
the bridge. The buildings??? of
