The shops and stores opened
again this morning after
being closed four days.
It seemed like four Sundays.
Still cold and wintry the
piercing wind still con-
tinued.
After lunch the sun being
out, we took a short walk.
Went to a motor car agency
to see the “Daimler” car – the
car the King uses exclusively.
A perfect type of car one
would expect King George
to use, and a find looking
car. Father secured our reser-
vations in the American
Merchant Line – Steamship
“American Trader” to sail
from London Friday Apri. 5
for New York. Cabin + bath. No. 3.
