Tuesday. Mar. 12″
After breakfast + packing
went to the leather store to
see when my bag would be
ready. Walked around and
took a car ride. Returned
to the hotel while Father
walked farther.
Left Florence at 12.48 P.M.
for Venice. There was a grand
rush for compartments when
train came in: as there
seemed to be many passengers
and but a very few first
class compartments.
We happend to find room for
us in one, and when the train
started discovered that we had
very pleasant companions.

We spent a pleasant afternoon
