Attended services at 11 A.M. at
which Dr. Bade spoke – a very
interesting speaker –
Very quiet on board since 26
of our passengers disembarked
at Honolulu – We have but 30
now – so the steamer seems much
larger –
Monday Jan 7″
Very rough and much wind
up and around all day – but
did not do much on account
of the rolling of the steamer-
Tuesday Jan 8.
Not quite so rough but more
wind – On deck most of the
morning.
The heavy swells – the dashing???
waves – the foam – the white
caps and the spray are beautiful
after a long nap. Played bridge
with Dr. Fearn – Mrs. Firestone
(suggest a change)
