Early in the morning sighted
Somalaland??? Africa and
passed it close by –
Sighted an passed – eight
or ten steamers during
the day – Some of them were
very close –
After dinner a treasure hunt
was held – starting on the
veranda and extending over
the steamship. ???
by means of slips of paper.
Numbered from one to nine
and one must have the nine
+ then find the treasure to
win it. Mr. Soreil and
Geo fount it working as a
team – the price being $3.
Then Mr. Dillon gave a
sleight of hand demonstration
with figures on a blackboard.
