Saturday Feb. 16″
Crossing Indian Ocean.
Another of our beautiful days –
Hot – but a refreshing breeze –
On deck about all day –
At 2.30 P.M. the passengers
were asked to meet in the
veranda to organize a social ???
for entertainment while on
board – Father was chosen
chairman of the deck sports –
We have been told that one of
these President Steamships will
carry a cargo valued at seven
million on a single trip –
Cool and comfortable in the
evening.
