we departed – The shore line
showed many beautiful white
large buildings – some hotels
with the palm groves and
the fine beach showed plainly
with the mountains as a
background. Much tin was loaded.
We were really favorably
impressed with the City –
The surroundings are so
tropical and so beautiful.
We took in six new passengers
before we departed –
The City is on an island. We
saw no homes??? – everything being man
???
Sunday Feb 10″
A very hot night – and the
morning seemed to give no
relief as there was almost
no breeze – but later a fine
breeze sprang up – so we felt
refreshed. Church services
(suggest a change)
