the monkeys come down
from the trees as they do
at this hour –
There were many of them
and two mothers had two
tiny ones clinging to their
mother’s stomach as she
ran.
Quite a number of people
were out to see them –
Returned to the steamer as
it was very warm.
Most of the University Students
have departed and the last
will leave by night.
