embroidered dresses they have
made, bring??? along the side
wall of the dock building
where they try to sell to all
the passengers as they leave
the steamer for the city.
They were on duty there all
day yesterday and until
9 o’clock at night – and then
there again early to-day.
They also have hats for
both men and women.
Many of the passengers
buy and wear the dresses
and they are quite pretty –
made of cotton ??? or ???.
After lunch rested – then
went to a shop near the Manila
Hotel then motored down
town to the Eastman Kodak
place – returned in time for
