followed later in time for
lunch. He had been taking
snap shots and in his
eagerness to get some leaned
against a recently painted
post and came in with one
side of his coat all white paint.
After lunch he went over to
the City again while I rested.
We are docked at Kowloon
across the bay that separates
the mainland from the island
on which is the City of Hong Kong.
but the city is Victoria but is
known by the name of the island –
Hong Kong.
There are no homes apparently
in the City – There are fine
motor cars – but the ???
both men + women do the heavy,
hardest kind of work.
They swarm the streets just
as in Kobe and Shanghai
