of six – Mr. + Mrs. G. A. Firestone
Mr. Sonil??? of Egypt and
Mr. Winkler of Manatoba Can.
After lunch we walked toward
the shopping district – We
visited innumerable depart-
ment stores of the lower??? quality.
Then as it was bitter cold
and rainy we turned toward
the hotel – Stopping at “Green Dragon”
cloisonne store where we
purchased a bowl and
then at the Jade Store
next door where I purchased
beads for Sarah + Mrs ???
Then being so cold and tired
I suggested that as I had a
cold we leave the hotel and
return to the steamer which
we did just in time for
dinner.
I never knew there were so many
Chinese in all the world as
there are in Shanghai.
(suggest a change)
