Bitter cold all night
with a piercing wind –
Sea calm in the morning.
Bur growing rougher as
the day progressed. Some
sunshine – but so very cold.
The fancy dress party tonight
seems to occupy the passen-
gers throughout the day.
The fancy dress party was
a great success. Seemingly
about half the passengers
were in costume. They
were varied and surprisingly
artistic.
It was a very enjoyable evening.
