They had engaged their steats
while we had not – so they went
ahead and saved two seats for
us – as there was a crowd and
the seats hard to get.
We traveled for some distance
along the shore of the Mediterranean
and then took a more northerly
course. Sometime we stood in
the aisle to rest.
No ladies get off to walk in the
platform as at home for
the trains make short sstops
and leave apparently suddenly
after a short toot from a small
whistle.
Arrived about 11 P.M. nearly an
hour late – took a taxi to our
hotel – “Dr Louvre”
