Arose early to pack and prepare to
leave – Left on the 0.40 A.M. train
for Paris. It proved to be a dirty
trip – Much dust and coal smoke
from the engine. As we stood on
the station platform waiting
for the train to back down our
two English friends of the day
before came up + greeted us.
