Transcription
The American Express repre-
sentitve met us at the train
took charge of our baggage
and ordered a motor car for
us as we wished to motor
about the City.
Then we went to the “customs”
to present our passports + visas
to the Police for permission
to leave the country – finally
arriving at the pier where we
took the “dinky” little boat
for the Ha??? anchored away
out in the harbor –
Arrived in time for lunch
and found ??? passengers,
most of them having left for
trips on shore.
??? at 2P.M. for ???
Weather slightly warmer
but cold at night.

The American Express representative met us at the train, took charge of our luggage and ordered a motor car for us as we wish to motor about the city. Then we went to the customs to present our passports and visas to the police for permission to leave the country – finally, arriving at the pier where we took the “dinky” little boat for the xxxx anchored away out in the harbor. Arrived in time for lunch and found xxx xxx most of them having left for trips on shore.
We sailed at 2 PM for Naples weather slightly warmer, but cold at night.
and found xxx “few passengers”…
