-Cairo- “Victoria Hotel”
We have a fine large room
twin 3 quarter beds – with
white lace canopy 3/4 of a
yard deep and a mosquito
net to cover teh whole bed.
but it is so cold we did not
use that – but I did take
the hot water bag to bed with
me. The street was so noisy
slept fitfully – In our
room beside the beds – we had
a very large wash bowl with
large mirror above and four
other mirrors – one on dressing
table – on in wardrobe door
and a smaller one on the
shelf at the side of wardrobe
and another on the wall -so
by opening the wardrobe
door one could have a
triple mirror.
